Choral Director
I graduated from Adair High School on May 15, 2016.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Vocal Music Education on December 12, 2020.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Vocal Music Education from NSU and I am certified to teach vocal music K-12 in the state of Oklahoma.
I am also certified in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding by the Red Cross.
I have attended various JPS professional developments, NCDA festivals and conferences, and OKCDA and OKMEA conferences.
I began teaching at Jay Public Schools on January 5, 2021 and have been with this school district for nearly 2 years.
I am currently teaching HS and MS Choir, Music Appreciation, and 4th and 5th grade General Music.
This is my first official teaching position.
Other important experiences include my pre-internships through NSU at Grand View Elementary and Hilldale High School and my full internship at Pryor Middle School and Pryor High School. I worked 5 summers at Camp War Eagle in Northwest Arkansas as a counselor and top staff.
I got married to my husband Myklind (pronounced Mike-Lind) Reyes-Sosi, who is the choir director at Pryor Middle School, on May 8, 2021!
This is our puppy, Willow! We brought her into our family on March 19, 2022. She loves to play fetch, go on walks and runs, protect the house, and snuggle.
I love to sing, play piano and clarinet, watch movies, cook and bake, and recently picked up painting!
When I am not teaching, I love spending time at home with my husband, learning new recipes, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and playing with our pug, Willow.
