Technology Teacher
I teach Technology Education – I call it “Future Class”.
I come from, as they say, ‘industry’- I owned an office equipment business in Tahlequah and for the last several years have served as a project manager for software- making sure the things we developed looked, worked, and flowed well.
I’m beyond excited to be teaching what I call “Future Class” – automation and robotics – Technology— is overtaking every industry on the planet. The ability to design, build, program, and repair robots is THE skill to learn to get yourself ahead of the career curve for the next several decades.
While many skills have evolved rapidly over the last several years- some core skills remain the same- how to read a tape measure, how to strip and splice wires, and just general problem solving skills- are all skills students still need.
My role is to educate students and that means challenging them and there is so much I don’t know myself and am looking forward to learning- I am a student myself.
